I've been putting this calendar together for a long time now. It started as a simple insert in the local paper, and it's turned into something a lot of Grapevine and Colleyville families ask me for every summer. This year I'm posting it here too, so you can bookmark it, share it, and find it again in October when you can't remember if the 12th or the 13th is the day off.
Below you'll find the key dates from the 2026-2027 Grapevine-Colleyville ISD instructional calendar, campus start and end times, and the 2026 football schedules for the Grapevine Mustangs, the Colleyville Heritage Panthers, and our hometown Dallas Cowboys.

When Does the 2026-2027 School Year
Start and End?
The 2026-2027 school year for Grapevine-Colleyville ISD (GCISD) runs from August 12 through May 27. Teachers head back for professional development starting August 3, and students walk in the door on the 12th. Here are the dates that shape the whole year.

A small thing that helps
I'm not a school district and I don't run the football programs.
